This specimen was part of lot 23216 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), which for $998.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "SEYCHELLES. Three Piece Proof Set, 1948. KM-5, 6, & 7. The Cent is graded as PROOF-63 RB. The 2 Cents is graded as PROOF-65 RB. And the 5 Cents is graded as PROOF-64 RB. All are sharply struck with light attractive toning. A nice evenly matched set with good eye appeal." All three pieces, including the one cent shown here, are one year types.

Recorded mintage: 300,000 plus proofs.

Specification: bronze.
