This specimen was lot 7086 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €190 (about US$249 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"GERMAN COINS SINCE 1871, REICHSSILBERMÜNZEN, WÜRTTEMBERG, Wilhelm II. 1891-1918. 2 Mark 1899. Prachtexemplar. Herrliche Patina, Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Württemberg, William II, 1891-1918, two mark of 1899. Cabinet piece, beautiful patina, uncirculated.)"
The silver two mark replaced the old gulden (10.58 g, 0.900 fine) struck in south Germany prior to unification.
