This specimen was lot 47417 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Maundy 3 Pence, 1843. London Mint. Victoria. PCGS MS-65." This type was struck every year 1838-87 and this is a common date.
Recorded mintage: 2,029,999 for 1842-43 plus 4,488 for the Maundy sets.
Specification: 1.41 g, 0.925 fine silver, 16 mm diameter, plain edge.
