Lightly tooled below bust." This type was struck 1693-94 with (Fr-302) and without (shown here) the elephant and castle below the busts. All the 1694 issue seems to have the overdate.

This specimen was lot 1198 in Sincona sale 79 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 4,250 CHF (about US$5,094 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN | Königreich, William III. and Mary, 1689-1694. 2 Guineas 1694/3, London. Conjoined busts. Rare. NGC AU Details. Lightly tooled below bust." This type was struck 1693-94 with (Fr-302) and without (shown here) the elephant and castle below the busts. All the 1694 issue seems to have the overdate.
