The type was struck 1741-72 and is recorded for the Paris mint ("A") for most of those years. This issue is from the Dijon mint (mintmark "P").

Specification: 2.95 g, 0.917 fine silver, 22 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by J.-C. Röettiers.
