This specimen was part of lot 31150 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), which sold for $1,020. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Bulgaria. People's Republic 7-Piece Certified Proof Set 1980 NGC, 1) Stotinka - PR66 Cameo; 2) 2 Stotinki - PR67 Ultra Cameo; 3) 5 Stotinki - PR67 Ultra Cameo; 4) 10 Stotinki - PR67 Ultra Cameo, KM 87; 5) 20 Stotinki - PR68 Ultra Cameo; 6) 50 Stotinki - PR67 Ultra Cameo; 7) Lev - PR68 Ultra Cameo. A high-grade representative of this relatively low-mintage set (2,000 produced), rarely offered at all, particularly so in such fine condition." This type was struck by the communists 1979-80, 1988-90.
