Künker Auction 425, lot 1806

This specimen was lot 1806 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,400 (about US$1,983 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"EUROPÄISCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · UNGARN, SIEBENBÜRGEN, FÜRSTEN Sigismund Bathory, 1581-1602. Reichstaler 1590. Hübsche Patina, leichte Broschierspuren, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Hungary principality of Transylvania, Sigismund Bathory, 1581-1602, thaler of 1590. Handsome patina, removed from jewelry, very fine to extremely fine.)"
