This specimen was lot 24974 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Genoa. Republic 4 Lire 1795, MS63 NGC, nicely toned with glossy surfaces, tiny natural flaw on the leg of John the Baptist. Very scarce type in mint state." This type is listed for 1793-97 and is accompanied by a one, two (KM 244) and eight lire (KM 249).

Specification: 16.64 g, 0.889 fine silver, 35 mm diameter.
