This specimen was part of lot 1502 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), which it sold for 17,350 CHF (about US$19,189 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AUSTRALIA. 100 Dollars 2010. Känguru/Kangoroo 1 OZ Gold. Lot von 10 Exemplaren. Feingewicht total: 311.03 Gramm. FDC. (Australia, 100 dollars of 2010, one ounce kangaroo, lot of ten pieces, 311 g gold weight. Uncirculated.)"
This is the 2010 version of the one ounce gold kangaroo. It was also issued with a "P" mintmark for Perth (KM 1771). Australia also issues koala and lunar calendar themed bullion coins as well as the usual commemorative NCLT's.
