The specimen shown is an example of a type struck for Finland, 1999-2006. The admission of additional members caused the reverse to be redesigned in 2007 to show the enlarged zone (KM 129).
Recorded mintage: 14,114,000 plus 13,000 proofs.
Specification: 7.5 g., Bi-Metallic Copper-Nickel center in Brass ring, 23.25 mm diameter. Obv: two flying swans; Rev: Value at left, expanded relief map of European Union at right by Luc Luycx; Edge: Reeded and plain sections.
