This specimen was lot 984 in Sincona sale 92 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$832 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"OSMANISCHES REICH / TÜRKEI Muhammad IV. ibn Ibrâhîm, 1058-1099 AH (1648-1687), Sultani 1058 AH (1648), Qustantînîya Mint. Fast vorzüglich. Prägeschwäche am Rand, About Extremely Fine, Weakly struck near edge."
The Ottoman Empire reached its territorial maximum during the reign of Mehmed IV. However, military reverses, including the failed siege of Vienna, led to the loss of Hungary and the beginning of Turkish decline. Mehmet was overthrown in 1687 and died in 1693.
