This specimen was lot 5324 in Sincona sale 35 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$386 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Solothurn, Batzen 1631. Wappen zwischen S-O. Umschrift mit "SALODORENSIS". Rv. Auf der Rückseite mit dem Ankerkreuz mit Blumenverzierungen. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich. (canton of Solothurn, batzen of 1631. Obverse: arms divide 'S-O'; reverse: floriate cross with fleur-de-lys in the fields. Very rare in this condition, Extremely fine.)"
The SCWC records this type for 1622-24, 1630-32, 1637-38 and 1642 and even notes that 1631 is a more available date. As always, choice specimens such as this do not appear often. St. Ursus is mentioned ("SANCTVS · VRSVS · MART · 1631·") but not depicted on the reverse.
