The first specimen was lot 2017 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ROMANIEN, Republik, seit 1948. 5000 Lei 2000, Bukarest. Auf die 400-Jahrfeier der Vereinigung der Fürstentümer Wallachai, Moldawien und Transsylvanien durch Prinz Michael I. Selten. Nur 1'500 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat mit der Ausgabenummer 189. (republic of Romania, five thousand lei of 2000, Bucharest mint, on the 400th anniversary of the union of Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania under prince Michael I. Rare.
