This specimen was lot 96 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"IRAN, Afsharid Dynasty, Amir Arslan Khan, at Tabriz only, 1161 AH (1748). Abbasi 1161 AH (1748), Tabriz Mint. Selten, Vorzüglich; Rare. Extremely fine. Purchased from Moussesian, Munich, in 1988."
Amir Arslan Khan was the cousin of the brothers Adel Shah and Ebrahim Mirza. Governor of Azerbaijan, he struck a shahi, abbasi and ashrafi in AH 1161, all rare.
Recorded mintage: unknown but scarce.
