This specimen was lot 1928 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$580 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Ferdinand I. 1521-1564. 1/2 Taler zu 36 Kreuzer 1556, Hall. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Feine Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand I, 1521-64, half thaler of 36 kreuzer of 1556, Hall mint. Rare, Good Very Fine, Nicely toned.)"
This product of the Hall mint accompanies the common thalers (such as Dav-8027) of that mint. It was struck 1556-57.
