This specimen was lot 3946 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €1,200 (about US$1,575 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1806 KONIGREICH, Maximilian I. (IV.) Joseph, 1799-1806-1825. Dukat 1812. GOLD. Kl. Kratzer, vorzüglich. (kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian I Joseph, 1806-25, ducat of 1812. Hairlines, extremely fine.)"
This type was issued in small numbers 1807-22 with a very similar type issued 1823-25 (KM 718). None are cheap.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.
