Stack's Bowers 2019 Collector's Choice sale, lot 71086

This specimen was lot 71086 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "BERMUDA. 10 Dollars, 1990. NGC PROOF-69 Ultra Cameo. Mintage: Commemorating the Sommer Islands 'Hogge Money' issues, this piece features a galleon and is incredibly majestic. Just two finer have been graded by NGC." This coin recycled a design used on the 1989 25 dollars (KM 58).

Recorded mintage: 500.

Specification: 3.13 g, 0.999 fine gold, 0.100 troy oz AGW, 16.5 mm diameter.
