This specimen was lot 3667 in Künker sale 294 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €550 (about US$741 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, <blockquote>"''KÖLN, ERZBISTUM, Friedrich III. von Saarwerden, 1371-1414. Goldgulden o. J. (1387), Bonn. GOLD. Sehr schön-vorzüglich.'' ([[Germany]], archbishopric of Cologne, Frederick III of Saarwerden, 1371-1414, undated goldgulden, Bonn mint. Very fine to extremely fine.)"</blockquote> Both the city and the archbishop of Cologne (or Koln) issued gold ducats and it takes a keen eye to tell them apart. Friedberg notes this type as fairly common.
