This specimen was lot 1494 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,617 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Ferdinand III. 1625-1637-1657. Dreifacher Reichstaler 1639, Graz. RR Felder geglättet, winz. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand III, 1637-57, triple thaler of 1639, Graz mint. Rare, fields tooled, minor edge cracks, very fine.)"
This rare issue of 1639 and 1641 is accompanied by a double thaler (Dav-A3186).
