This type was struck 1807-11 and 1816. The last batzen was issued in 1826. This specimen was lot 3010 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$454 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Aargau, Batzen 1816, Aarau. Selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Aargau, batzen of 1816. Rare, Good very fine.)"
Recorded mintage: unknown but the scarcest date.
