This specimen was lot 34201 in Heritage sale 3049 (Long Beach, September 2016), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bern. City 20 Kreuzer 1716 MS65 PCGS. Slightly mottled toning with very nice luster, and clearly defined details. The finest and only graded specimen at PCGS. From the Redwood Collection, Part II." The climbing bear is the badge of Bern, Switzerland. This type is listed for 1716-17 but is not listed as expensive. There is also a similar ten kreuzer (KM 85). At the time, four kreuzer = one batzen and forty batzen = one thaler.
