Sincona sale 73, lot 2122

This specimen was lot 2122 in Sincona sale 73 (Zurich, November 2021), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"BULLION AUCTION | SPAIN | Königreich. Juan Carlos I. 1975-2014. 400 Euro 2011. El Greco - Porträt eines Adligen aus Toledo. Feingewicht: 27 Gramm. 3'000 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. (kingdom of Spain, Juan Carlos I, 1975-2014, four hundred euros of 2011, El Greco. 3,000 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate.)"

This NCLT was part of a series extending 2002-17, honoring Spanish art and history. It was accompanied by KM 1222 (silver 50 euro).

Recorded mintage: 4,477 proofs.
