This specimen was lot 42152 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Danish India. Tranquebar. Royalin, 1781. Christian VII. PCGS EF-45." The SCWC notes that the royalin was worth eighty cash or one-eighth of a rupee. This type was struck steadily 1767-99. The Danish sold out to the British in 1845.

Recorded mintage: unknown but a common date.
