Fr. 1800-1. The First NB. Charter #12976. Fine. This San Bernardino County bank wasn't chartered until August of 1926 and didn't issue notes until the small size era began, issuing a total of just $151,830. The Type-1 $5 offered here spent considerable amount of time traveling the channels of commerce. However, bold inks and plenty of paper body remain. Fine-Very Fine, with a small area of light staining on the left side. Ex- Philip Krakover collection sale, lot 89."
