Sincona sale 77, lot 3506

This specimen was lot 3506 in Sincona sale 77 (Zurich, May 2022), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"AUSTRALIEN. Elisabeth II. seit 1952. 3000 Dollars 2012. Year of the Dragon. Feingewicht: 1000 Gramm. Polierte Platte. (commonwealth of Australia, Elizabeth II, since 1952, three thousand dollars of 2012, Year of the Dragon. Choice Proof.)"

Another $3000 "coin" exists for 2012--KM 1687, featuring the red kangaroo.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1000 g, 0.999 fine gold, 100 mm diameter.
