This is the last kronenthaler struck by the Hapsburgs in and for Belgium, which was invaded, occupied and annexed by revolutionary France in 1794. Others are known from Vienna (mintmark "A"), Kremnitz (mintmark "B"), Prague (mintmark "C"), Karlsburg (mintmark "E"), Hall (mintmark "F"), Nagybanya (mintmark "G"), Günzburg (mintmark "H") and Milan (mintmark "M") but none actually made in Brussels except for this issue.
