This specimen was part of lot 1896 in Sincona sale 90 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$570 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Slowakische Republik, 1939-1945. 5 Halierov (Heller) 1942, Kremnitz. Zink. Lot von 2 Stück. Selten. FDC. (2). (Slovak Republic, 1939-45, 5 halierov or heller of 1942, Kremnitz mint. Lot of two pieces, Rare, Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck in 1942 by the Nazi-dominated puppet regime of Slovakia, separated from Czechoslovakia when the Nazis occupied Bohemia and Moravia in 1939. Slovakia was reunited with Bohemia-Moravia in 1945 by the Soviet Red Army. This example realized 17 times the catalog value.

Specification: 0.94 g, zinc, 14 mm diameter, this specimen 1.92 g.
