This specimen was lot 1257 in Künker sale 403 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €320 (about US$420 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCHER SENAT, 1184-1439. Grosso o. J. (1323-1328), Rom. (Papal States, senatorial issue, 1184-1439, undated grosso, circa 1323-28, Rome mint, struck with the arms of the Colonna-Orsini family. Obverse: lion rampant left, arms below; reverse: Roma entroned facing, with palm branch, the throne decorated with lion's heads. Rare, very fine.)"

To call this a Senatorial issue is to dignify the chaos, anarchy and hoodlumism besetting Rome at this period, forcing the popes to flee to Avignon, France.
