Its replacement bears the portrait of emperor Pedro II ([[Brazil 1868 200 reis|KM 471]]) and is slightly lighter. This type is known counterstamped for circulation in the Azores ([[Azores (1871) 120 reis KM-19.1|KM 19.1]]).
