This specimen was lot 3108 in Sincona sale 33 (Zurich, October 2016), where it sold for 90 CHF (about US$107 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Karl VI. 1711-1740 1/2 Soldo 1739. Hall Für Trient. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, half soldo of 1739, struck in Hall for the Trentino. Very fine-extremely fine.)"

The bishopric of Trent was a princely state in the Alps ruled by a Hapsburg client until it was annexed outright by Austria during the Napoleonic mediatizations. It fell to Italy after World War One but remains German-speaking. This half soldo is accompanied by a one soldo (KM 2).
