This specimen was part of lot 3641 in Sincona sale 51 (Zurich, October 2018), which it sold for 150 CHF (about US$181 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

This type was issued 1939-41 for Pius XII, the second pope to rule over the newly independent Vatican City. It is common.
