This specimen was lot 75177 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bundi. Rupee, VS 1958 (1901). Rama Singhji (under Edward VII as Emperor). PCGS AU-53. An exceedingly charming example of an always somewhat crude type, the present example delivers good details and limited evidence of actual handling along with some satiny brilliance that is retained." This type is listed for VS 1958-1963. Nazarana rupees (wide, flat and machine struck) also exist. Bundi is surrounded by Gwalior, Kotah and Mewar.
