This specimen was lot 74049 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2023), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bundi. Rupee, VS 1980 (1923). Raghubir Singhji (under George V as Emperor). NGC MS-62. A wholesome example of this relatively modern and charmingly crude hammered issue, the surfaces imbued with dark grey patina and the details essentially as struck." This type was struck years 1979-1989 and is not expensive. Nazarana rupees (wide, flat and machine struck) also exist. Bundi is surrounded by Gwalior, Kotah and Mewar.
