This specimen was lot 1600 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), where it sold for $48. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Silver Penny, 1905. Edward VII. Dazzling iridescent golden green toning. Gem Uncirculated." Long obsolete as a circulating coin, this type was struck 1902-10 for the Maundy sets.

Recorded mintage: 18,000.

Specification: 0.47 g, 0.925 fine silver, 11 mm diameter.
