This specimen was lot 40319 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $19,550. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. Danzig. Ducat, 1585. NGC AU-58. Stephen Bathory (1575-86). Nice strike. From the Demarete Collection." Friedberg lists this type for 1578-87.
