This specimen was lot 75341 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. 1/2 Kopek, 1927. Leningrad (St. Petersburg) Mint. NGC MS-63. Displaying handsome and rich glossy surfaces, this Soviet product is both fully struck and fully attractive." This type was struck by the communists 1925-28.

Recorded mintage: 45,380,000 + proofs.
