This specimen was lot 31784 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $499.38. The catalog description[1] noted, "Adolf Frederick copper Ore 1758, MS63 Brown NGC. Well-struck details with mint red on both sides. Very scarce in this quality." These copper one öre pieces were struck in Sweden until 1778 along with billon one öre coins which were produced until 1761. This type is noted for 1751-69 and is common up thru very fine.

Recorded mintage: unknown but common.

Specification: 14.2 g, copper.
