This specimen was lot 1565 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $285.60. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Republic, 5 schilling, 1957, key date for the two-year type, NGC graded MS63." This type was struck 1954 and 1957. It was superseded by a silver issue (KM 2889) of 1960-68 which was later converted to copper-nickel.
Recorded mintage: 240,200.
Specification: 4 g, aluminum, 31 mm diameter.
