This specimen was lot 3320 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $41.65. The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK: Christian IX, 1863-1906, AR 25 øre, 1900, scarce overdate with 9/8, surface hairlines, NGC graded About Unc details." This type was struck struck 1894, 1900 and 1904-05. This coin was struck to the same standard as the Swedish twenty-five öre and is the closest thing to a silver dime Denmark issued.
Recorded mintage: 1,206,000.
Specification: 2.42 g, 0.600 fine silver.
