This specimen was lot 486 in Jean Elsen sale 115 (Brussels, December 2012) where it sold for €2800 (about US$4,274 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRABANT, Duché, Philippe IV (1621-1665), AV couronne d'or, 1633, Bruxelles. Droit: Croix à triple nervure, évidée et feuillue. Revers: Ecu couronné, accosté de deux briquets couronnés. Très Rare. Ex HSA 1244. Superbe. (Duchy of Brabant, Philip IV (1621-65), gold couronne d'or of 1633, Brussels mint. Obverse: floriate, voided cross; reverse: crowned arms divide two crowned jewels. Very rare, extremely fine.)"

This type is listed for Brabant, from Antwerp (1623-39, hand mintmark) and Brussels (1622-39, angel face mintmark, shown here).

Recorded mintage: 25,000.
