This specimen was lot 9536 in Ponterio sale 151 (Baltimore, November 2009), where it sold for $172.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "HAITI. 100 Centimes, AN 26 (1829) Rudman-182/3. Small planchet flaw on obverse, several die breaks. Otherwise UNCIRCULATED." This type was struck 1828, 1830 and 1833 in Haiti during the rule of Jean Pierre Boyer (1776-1850), president of Haiti 1822-43. Like many Haitian coins of the period, it bears no Common Era date but only the revolutionary year "AN 26", counting from 1803, the year of independence from France.
