This specimen was lot 3516 in Sincona sale 26 (Zurich, October 2015), where it sold for 575 CHF (about US$710 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Silberdukat 1699. Sonst fast FDC. Prägeschwächen. (province of Overijssel, silver ducat of 1699. Choice uncirculated, cleaned.)"
The province of Overijssel issued silver ducats starting in 1659 and well into the eighteenth century. This subtype is noted for 1695-1700.
Recorded mintage: 1,650,901 for 1695-1700.
Specification: 28.25 g, .873 fine silver, .792 troy oz ASW, this specimen 27.88 g.
