This specimen was lot 2248 in Goldberg sale 100 (Los Angeles, September 2017), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria. 50 Euro, 2003. Christian Charity. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated." This NCLT was one of a series commencing in 2002 and running thru at least 2015. Other topics included Josef Haydn, Gustav Klimt, Ignaz Semmelweiss and Mozart.
Recorded mintage: 50,000.
Specification: 10.14 g, .986 fine gold, 22 mm diameter.
