PCGS PROOF-66 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. Struck to mark the 5th year of Joseph-Desire Mobutu's presidency. A superbly cameoed example of this modern African type with no instances of tone or haze over the surfaces. From the Pinnacle Collection." A circulation issue exists, struck in brass in large quantities. In 1971, the river and the country were renamed Zaire.
