This specimen was lot 72988 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $352.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Mark, 1696. NGC MS-61. Nice strike with attractive luster." This type, struck 1683-97, is the most common of this denomination struck during the seventeenth century. It is, however, scarcer than the concurrent two mark or four mark.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 5.20 g, .694 fine silver.
