This specimen was lot 72913 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Santa Ana, CA, May 2017), where it sold for $164.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 3 Grosze, 1831-KG. NGC AU-55 BN. Revolutionary Coinage. One year type struck during the November uprising "Cadets Revolution"." This issue was struck in 1831 while Poland was rebelling against Russian rule. One złoty equaled fifteen kopeks or thirty groszy. Russian coinage for Poland ended in 1850.
