This specimen was lot 50 in Schulman auction 388 (Amsterdam, December 2025), where it sold for €5,000 (about US$7,045 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Scheepjesschelling, 1771, Gold In goud geslagen op het gewicht van 2 dukaten. Type II, groot model. Driemaster naar rechts VIGILATE DEO CONFIDENTES. Kz. gekroond wapen tussen waarde 6 - S, jaartal boven de kroon MO: NO: ORD: HOLL: ET WESTFRI:. Kabelrand. In 1999 voor het laatst bij ons voorgekomen. RR. Zeldzaam jaartal. PCGS SP61. Vrijwel FDC. (ship schilling of 1771, off metal strike in gold of two ducat weight, type II. Obverse: three masted ship sails right; reverse: crowned arms divide the date, reeded edge. Rare date, the first one we have offered since 1999, graded PCGS SP61.)"

The regular billon Scheepjesschelling was struck 1701-05, 1708-37, 1745-54, 1759-63, 1767, while the gold version was struck 1702-03, 1709, 1722-84, 1789-94, in double ducat weight.
