This specimen was lot 3673 in Sincona sale 70 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$158 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SWITZERLAND | Zurich | Stadt und Kanton. 10 Schilling 1730, Zürich. Gutes vorzüglich. Minimaler Schrötlingsfehler.'' (Switzerland, [[Switzerland, Zurich|canton of Zurich]], ten schilling of 1730, Zurich mint. Good extremely fine, Minimal flan flaw.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1718-27, 1730-32, 1736-53. One [[Zurich 1730 thaler Dav-1785|thaler]] = 80 schillinge, making this coin a quarter gulden or one-eighth of a thaler. In 1798, the canton of Zürich was forcibly incorporated into the Helvetic Republic.
