This specimen was lot 3314 in Sincona sale 26 (Zürich, October 2015), where it sold for 375 CHF (about US$463 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''ITALY, Firenze, Cosimo III. 1670-1723 Piastra 1680. Gutes sehr schön. Zainende.'' ([[Italy]], grand duchy of Tuscany, Cosimo III, 1670-1723, piastra of 1680, good very fine, clipped.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1680 only and is quite expensive in the SCWC. It was struck simultaneously with [[Tuscany 1680 piastra Dav-4210|Dav-4210]], which has a younger bust of the duke and a solid inner circle. This specimen appears to be clipped, perhaps to remove a mount.
