This specimen was lot 1596 in Sincona sale 6 (Zürich, May 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''ITALIEN Tassarolo Livia Centurioni Oltremarini (Frau von Filippo Spinola), 1616-1688. Löwentaler o. J. Imitation der niederländischen Geldsorte. Äusserst selten. Sehr schön.'' ([[Italy]], county of Tassarolo, Livia Centurioni Oltremarini (wife of Filippo Spinola), 1616-1688, lion daalder without date. Imitation of a Dutch lion daalder. Very rare, very fine.)"</blockquote>  This rare tallero was minted in imitation of a Dutch [[Overijssel 1616 daalder Dav-4860|''leeuwendaalder'']]. Tassarolo is a tiny region in Genoa, today claiming less than a thousand souls.
